NovaPulse Communications is seeking a results-oriented Public Relations Manager to lead integrated PR programs for our growing client roster in New York City. You will craft compelling narratives, secure top-tier media coverage, and mentor a small team of PR professionals. What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to raise brand visibility for clients across tech, consumer, and lifestyle sectors.
- Establish and maintain relationships with editors, reporters, and influencers at NYC outlets and national media.
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, statements, op-eds, and executive messaging.
- Lead crisis communications planning, monitoring, and rapid response to protect brand reputation.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital, and Product teams to ensure consistent, data-driven storytelling across channels.
- Plan and manage media events, press conferences, and influencer activations.
- Monitor coverage, analyze PR impact, and deliver actionable insights and quarterly reports to clients and leadership.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive PR experience with a consistent track record of securing media coverage.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across press materials and executive messaging.
- Experience handling crisis communications and media inquiries with calm, strategic responses.
- Extensive media contacts in NYC and national outlets; a strong existing network is a plus.
- Proficiency with PR tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater) and social listening platforms; strong analytics skills.
- Strategic thinker with excellent project management, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and willingness to travel for events as needed.
