Position: Quality Inspector — Serang, Banten
Indonesia Multi Colour Printing is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Serang. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality across the printing production process, from raw materials to finished products. You will collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and QA teams to safeguard product integrity, optimize efficiency, and minimize waste.
As a Quality Inspector, you will perform thorough inspections at multiple stages of the print production process, verify color accuracy, dimensions, and finish, and document your findings with clear, actionable records. You will use measurement tools and standardized checklists to identify non-conformities and initiate corrective actions in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and systematic approach will contribute to consistent product quality and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications-based experiences include familiarity with printing methods, color management (CMYK and Pantone), and a working knowledge of quality management systems. You will participate in internal audits, root-cause analysis, and CAPA initiation, and you will help drive continuous improvement across the production line. Responsibility
- Conduct inbound, in-process, and final quality inspections of printed materials according to SOPs and customer requirements.
- Verify color accuracy and consistency using measurement tools (color densitometers, spectrophotometers) and standard color charts.
- Record non-conformities, manage defect classification, and coordinate with production to implement corrective actions and CAPA.
- Monitor production line parameters and equipment settings to ensure products meet specified tolerances.
- Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality data, and ensure traceability of batches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental policies and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a QA Inspector or similar role in printing or manufacturing (1-3+ years).
- Strong knowledge of quality control methods, measurement tools, and statistics.
- Familiarity with color management, CMYK and Pantone color standards, and print production processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs, blueprints, and work orders; basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Good communication and teamwork; proactive and solution-focused mindset.
- Diploma or technical degree in manufacturing, quality assurance, or related field preferred.
