We are seeking a dedicated Safetyman to join Bumi Mas Jaya Perkasa, leading safety initiatives for construction projects across Kepulauan Riau. In this full-time role, you will be the critical link between project teams and the safety program, ensuring workers are protected and projects stay on track.
As our Safety Officer, you will implement practical safety policies, conduct risk assessments, deliver engaging training, and drive continuous safety improvements across all shifts. You will lead toolbox talks, monitor safety performance, and ensure compliance with local K3 regulations and company standards. You will coordinate with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan safe work methods and control measures for high-risk activities such as excavation, lifting, and work at heights.

Responsibility
- Lead site safety program, perform regular inspections, and ensure compliance with Indonesian K3 regulations and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures, incident reporting, and training programs.
- Conduct root cause analyses and investigations of near-misses and accidents; track corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project teams to plan safe work methods and permit-to-work regimes for high-risk activities.
- Manage PPE inventory, signage, safety equipment, and ensure proper maintenance and availability.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings; deliver training sessions and maintain training records.
- Maintain safety documentation, prepare regulatory reports, and develop safety dashboards for management.
Qualification
- 2+ years of construction safety experience or industrial safety experience on site.
- Strong knowledge of K3 regulations and local safety standards in Indonesia.
- Certification in occupational safety (e.g., SMK3) or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills with the ability to lead toolbox talks.
- Proven ability to perform risk assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
- Proficiency in documenting safety records and using safety software and reporting tools.
