QuantaChem Laboratories is a leading innovation-driven company specializing in advanced analytical chemistry solutions. We are seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join our growing R&D team in Cambridge, MA. As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will own method development and validation for challenging samples, optimize instrument performance, and mentor junior scientists. You will contribute to product development, technical documentation, and scientific communication with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibility
- Lead design, development, and validation of analytical methods (HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS) for complex samples across multiple projects.
- Plan and execute method qualification, robustness testing, and transfer to production with rigorous documentation.
- Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, and implement calibration and quality control protocols.
- Generate high-quality data, perform data interpretation, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Ensure GLP/GMP compliance in study execution, documentation, and archival procedures.
- Collaborate with R&D, QC, and manufacturing to accelerate product development and troubleshooting.
- Mentor and train junior chemists; contribute to SOPs, work instructions, and best practices.
- Draft technical reports, publications, and regulatory submissions as needed.
Qualification
- PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field; or a Master's with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proven expertise in chromatographic techniques (HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS) and spectroscopic methods.
- Strong track record in method development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting in GLP or GMP environments.
- Experience with data processing software (Empower, MassLynx, Analyst) and data integrity principles (ALCOA).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills; ability to influence without authority.
- Ability to design experiments, analyze complex data, and present actionable insights to diverse audiences.
- Experience in writing SOPs, technical reports, and regulatory documentation; publication record is a plus.
- Authorized to work in the United States; willingness to work on-site in Cambridge, MA.
