Responsibility

  • Lead system architecture and design for powertrain, propulsion, and vehicle integration projects across BEV, PHEV, and hybrid platforms.
  • Own validation plans, develop CAE/CFD analyses, and coordinate testing to meet performance and reliability targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (controls, chassis, software, suppliers) to ensure robust system integration.
  • Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical reviews, risk assessments, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Drive quality standards, participate in FMEA, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualification

  • BS/MS in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in automotive powertrain/electrification with hands-on design and testing experience.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD (CATIA/SolidWorks) and CAE tools; experience with FEA/CFD.
  • Solid background in EV systems, battery management, controls, and vehicle integration.
  • Proven project leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier interaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 26262, and safety/regulatory standards.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
