CurioSphere is seeking a Senior Content Curation Lead to shape and govern our content experiences across platforms. This role blends editorial judgment with information architecture to ensure high-quality, discoverable content for diverse audiences. This is a hybrid Berlin based opportunity with remote options.
Responsibility
- Lead the development of the content curation strategy and governance across editorial, product, and marketing.
- Oversee sourcing, evaluation, tagging, and taxonomy for all content assets from internal and external sources.
- Define and maintain taxonomy, metadata standards, controlled vocabularies, and tagging guidelines within the CMS.
- Collaborate with SEO, UX, product, and data teams to optimize content discovery and engagement.
- Build and mentor a multidisciplinary curation team; set KPIs and performance reviews.
- Establish content lifecycle processes, audits, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and freshness.
- Analyze usage data and feedback to continuously improve curation quality and user experience.
- Manage partnerships with content creators and external vendors to ensure licensing and rights compliance.
Qualification
- 5+ years of experience in content curation, editorial, or information architecture.
- Demonstrated expertise in taxonomy, metadata modeling, and CMS governance.
- Exceptional editorial judgment, research skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with analytics and data-driven decision making (GA4, Looker, or similar).
- Strong collaboration and cross functional leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication in English; German language proficiency a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Information Science, Communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with content licensing, rights management, or partnerships is a plus.
