NovaCopy Creative is seeking a seasoned Senior Copywriter to join our NYC-based team. This role blends compelling storytelling with data-driven SEO, crafting high-conversion copy across web, email, and social channels. Responsibility
- Craft high-conversion copy for websites, landing pages, emails, blogs, social posts, and product descriptions, ensuring consistency with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with product, design, SEO, and performance teams to develop and optimize content briefs, style guides, and editorial calendars.
- Conduct audience research and keyword discovery to inform content strategy and on-page optimization.
- Lead content projects end-to-end, including briefing, drafting, internal reviews, edits, and final delivery.
- Edit and polish copy for tone, clarity, readability, and conversion, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Mentor junior copywriters, providing constructive feedback and governance on voice and standards.
- Analyze content performance using analytics tools, iterating to improve engagement and ROI.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in tech, SaaS, e-commerce, or agency environments.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across web, email, and long-form content with measurable results.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of SEO, keyword research, and on-page optimization principles.
- Ability to write in multiple brand voices and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Experience with CMS (WordPress or similar), basic HTML/CSS understanding is a plus.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
