We are seeking a Senior Creative Writer to join our New York City team. You will shape stories that resonate, elevate brand voice, and drive engagement across campaigns, articles, and product launches. This role blends artistic craftsmanship with strategic impact, offering a platform for writers who want to create meaningful content at scale.
This position is based in New York with hybrid remote options for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities include collaborating with editors, designers, and marketers; owning multiple writing projects from concept to publication; upholding brand voice and editorial standards; and mentoring junior writers. Responsibility
- Create original narrative content for campaigns, blogs, articles, case studies, and product launches while maintaining the brand voice.
- Write long-form pieces including features, interviews, and white papers; adapt tone for different formats and audiences.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and marketers to align content with strategy and deadlines.
- Edit and polish drafts, fact-check information, and ensure accuracy, readability, and consistency.
- Optimize content for readability and SEO-friendly structure; craft compelling headlines and meta descriptions.
- Research topics, interview subject matter experts, and translate complex ideas into engaging copy.
- Mentor junior writers and contribute to editorial calendars; participate in brainstorming sessions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of professional writing experience in brand storytelling, media, or advertising; portfolio required.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with mastery of voice, tone, and character across genres.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with brand storytelling and content strategy; familiarity with SEO basics; basic HTML or CMS experience is a plus.
- Strong research skills, curiosity, and ability to translate complex concepts into accessible content.
