QuillSpark Studios is seeking a Senior Creative Writer who can craft compelling narratives across long-form articles, brand stories, and digital content. The ideal candidate blends literary craft with audience-focused storytelling, SEO awareness, and collaborative energy.
In this role, you will lead content ideation, shape voice and tone, and mentor junior writers while delivering high-quality content on deadline.
What you’ll do: collaborate with editors and strategists to develop engaging concepts, manage multiple projects, and uphold editorial standards while delivering content that resonates with diverse audiences.
Responsibility
- Lead the development of original, high-quality content across blogs, case studies, and branded campaigns.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and SEO specialists to align writing with brand strategy and performance goals.
- Edit and polish manuscripts, ensuring clarity, tone consistency, and factual accuracy.
- Research topics, interview subject-matter experts, and synthesize information into engaging narratives.
- Mentor junior writers, provide constructive feedback, and assist with training.
- Contribute to editorial calendars and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Adapt writing for different formats (long-form, social content, audio scripts) and platforms.
- Maintain editorial QA, ensure compliance, accessibility, and inclusivity in content.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field; MFA preferred.
- 7+ years of professional writing experience in content creation, journalism, or marketing.
- Exceptional command of narrative structure, grammar, and style; ability to write across tones and audiences.
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and keyword-driven content.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML/CSS awareness.
- Portfolio showcasing versatility across formats (articles, features, brand stories, scripts).
- Excellent research skills, interview techniques, and fact-checking discipline.
- Collaborative mindset, ability to lead teams, and strong time-management under deadlines.
