Responsibility
- Develop and evolve compelling narratives for multi-platform content, including long-form features, articles, scripts, and marketing copy.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and product teams to align storytelling with brand voice and strategic goals.
- Lead idea generation sessions, pitch fresh concepts, and oversee show-don’t-tell storytelling across channels.
- Conduct thorough audience and topic research to ensure accuracy, nuance, and relevance.
- Edit and provide constructive feedback to junior writers; maintain consistency with style guides and editorial standards.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality, error-free output and clear on-brand tone.
- Adapt content for SEO, social media, and multimedia formats without sacrificing narrative integrity.
- Mentor and review contributions from freelance writers and contractors when applicable.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional writing experience in media, advertising, or digital publishing; portfolio demonstrating strong narrative and adaptability.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with a keen eye for structure, character, and voice.
- Proven editing skills with attention to grammar, style, and consistency across platforms.
- Experience crafting SEO-friendly content and optimizing for audience engagement.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proficiency with content management systems and basic analytics tools.
- Portfolio that demonstrates versatility in tone, genre, and format.
