NovaNarratives Studio is seeking a Senior Creative Writer to join our dynamic NYC-based team. You will craft engaging stories, editorial content, and brand narratives across digital platforms. This role blends creative artistry with strategic storytelling to elevate our clients' voices.
As a key contributor, you will collaborate with editors, designers, and product teams to produce high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences, while maintaining our brand voice and style guidelines.
Location: New York, NY (onsite or hybrid). Remote options may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Responsibility
- Write clear, immersive, and scalable content for web, print, and social media.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and clients to develop content strategies and timelines.
- Lead and mentor junior writers; conduct peer reviews.
- Edit and revise copy for tone, style, SEO, and readability.
- Adapt narratives to multiple formats: blog posts, whitepapers, emails, video scripts, and show notes.
- Oversee content calendar and ensure timely delivery; manage revisions.
- Research topics and trends; ensure factual accuracy and credible sourcing.
- Maintain brand voice and consistency across channels.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional creative writing experience, ideally in marketing or tech.
- Strong portfolio with diverse formats (long-form articles, web pages, social content).
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills; meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency with SEO fundamentals and content strategy; familiarity with CMS (WordPress, Contentful) is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines; strong collaboration and communication.
- Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago) and brand voice adaptation.
