Responsibility
- Provide exceptional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services for clients with a focus on precision and customization.
- Consult with clients to understand hair goals, lifestyle, and head shape to tailor services.
- Perform advanced color techniques including balayage, foiling, toning, and trend-driven shades.
- Lead and mentor junior stylists, share techniques, and maintain a collaborative salon environment.
- Ensure impeccable sanitation, tool sterilization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Maintain a balanced appointment schedule, manage client retention, and drive repeat business.
- Upsell retail products and treatments to enhance results and client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing education opportunities.
Qualification
- Valid cosmetology license in California or ability to obtain licensure promptly.
- Minimum of 4 years as a professional hair stylist in a high-volume salon.
- Proficient in cutting, color, balayage, and styling for diverse hair types.
- Excellent communication, client service, and time-management skills.
- Strong portfolio showcasing color and cut versatility and finishing quality.
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and safe chemical handling.
- Team-oriented attitude with leadership potential and positive workspace influence.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
