Fortis Defense Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Military Intelligence Analyst to join our defense-focused team in the Arlington, VA area. You will translate complex information into actionable intelligence to support decision-makers, mission planning, and threat mitigation. This is a mission-driven, high-impact role that offers exposure to multi-domain operations and close collaboration with government customers and industry partners.
You will work within a fast-paced intelligence cell to deliver timely insights that empower leaders to make informed decisions under pressure. The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, clear storytelling, and adherence to strict security and compliance standards.
Responsibility
- Lead the collection, analysis, and synthesis of multi-source intelligence to identify threats and opportunities relevant to current missions.
- Produce timely, accurate and actionable intelligence reports, briefings, and white papers for senior leaders and mission partners.
- Monitor OSINT and classified sources within approved security channels to detect emerging trends and risk indicators.
- Collaborate with military customers, defense contractors, and cross-functional teams to translate intelligence into actionable outcomes.
- Support incident response and crisis management exercises with intel guidance and decision-support materials.
- Develop and deliver formal briefings and executive summaries tailored to non-technical audiences.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and ensure compliance with DoD, ICD, and internal data handling policies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, Analytics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of military or defense-intelligence experience; prior joint or coalition operations exposure a plus.
- Active Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain; U.S. citizenship required.
- Proficiency with intelligence tools and workflows (e.g., analytic platforms, geospatial analysis, data visualization).
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to brief senior leaders succinctly and persuasively.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments with limited supervision and travel as required.
- Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, ethical judgment, and commitment to mission success.
