Responsibility
- Develop and execute enterprise reporting ideas that reveal critical issues and hold power to account.
- Write, edit, and publish clear, engaging stories for digital and print audiences, adhering to AP style.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, verify facts, and corroborate sources under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and data journalists to produce multimedia storytelling across platforms.
- Analyze data sets, create graphics, and translate complex information into accessible narratives.
- Mentor junior reporters, provide editorial feedback, and uphold newsroom ethics.
- Cover breaking news with speed, accuracy, and nuanced context while maintaining quality.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of newsroom experience with demonstrated enterprise reporting.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with strong command of AP style.
- Proficiency in digital storytelling, SEO best practices, and content management systems.
- Strong interviewing skills, ethics, and a commitment to accuracy and fairness.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data analysis or visualization is a plus.
