Lumina Growth Partners, a fast-growing digital marketing agency, is looking for a data-driven Senior SEO Specialist to join our NYC-based Marketing team. You will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of organic search programs for a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients.
This role blends technical SEO, content strategy, and performance analytics to drive sustainable growth and measurable ROI across search engines.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals across multiple clients.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes for site speed, indexing, crawlability, and structured data.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and content gap analysis to drive strategy.
- Optimize on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, internal linking) and improve page performance.
- Plan and lead effective link-building campaigns and digital PR initiatives.
- Monitor, report on key SEO metrics, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Content, Product, and Development teams to scale organic visibility.
- Stay current with search engine updates and industry best practices; evangelize SEO across the organization.
Qualification
- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience across B2B and B2C industries, with a proven track record of increasing organic traffic and rankings.
- Strong technical SEO expertise including site architecture, crawl budget management, indexation controls, schema markup, and page speed optimization.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console) and data analysis.
- Experience with content strategy and collaboration with writers and editors to develop SEO-friendly content.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Drupal) and basic HTML/CSS to implement changes.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills; ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field; certifications in SEO a plus.
- Hybrid work setup in New York City or nearby; ability to work onsite 2-3 days/week when needed.
