BrightPeak Digital is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to join our growth-focused marketing team in Austin, TX (remote-friendly). You will own and execute end-to-end SEO strategies that drive qualified organic traffic, improve search visibility, and boost conversions across our client portfolio.
In this role, you will partner with product, content, and development teams to implement technical optimizations, content improvements, and link-building initiatives that align with business goals. The ideal candidate is data-driven, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you’ll do:
Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies (technical, on-page, content, and off-page) to increase organic traffic and conversions.
- Perform technical site audits (crawlability, indexing, site speed, structured data) and drive fixes with engineering teams.
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analyses, and content gap assessments; translate findings into actionable optimization plans.
- Optimize on-page elements (title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking) and implement schema markup where appropriate.
- Lead outreach and relationship-building for high-quality link acquisition and digital PR campaigns.
- Monitor and report on key SEO metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions, ROI) and present insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product, design, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into product launches and site migrations.
Qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of growing organic search traffic and revenue.
- Strong technical SEO knowledge: crawl budgets, mobile-first indexing, site speed, canonicalization, and structured data.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush) and analytics interpretation.
- Experience with keyword research, content strategy, and on-page optimization; ability to guide content teams.
- Comfort working with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and basic HTML/CSS; ability to collaborate with developers.
- Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to create dashboards, track ROI, and run experiments; bachelor's degree preferred.
