Responsibility
- Design and lead end-to-end statistical analyses, experiments, and quasi-experiments to inform product and policy decisions.
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models (regression, time-series, mixed-effects) and quantify uncertainty.
- Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to ensure data quality and reproducibility.
- Translate complex statistical results into clear, actionable insights and communicable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior statisticians and analysts; establish best practices for methodology and documentation.
- Prepare dashboards and reports that highlight key metrics, trends, and risks to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with statistical standards, documentation, and reproducible research practices.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 5+ years of applied statistics, data science, or analytics experience in industry or academia.
- Proficiency in R and/or Python for statistical analysis; strong SQL skills.
- Experience with experimental design, power analysis, and causal inference methods.
- Strong knowledge of time-series analysis and forecasting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex results to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and storytelling with data.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams.
