In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. You will champion best practices in statistical methodology, data governance, and reproducible research.

We offer a collaborative, fast-paced environment with mentorship, ongoing learning opportunities, and a competitive compensation package.

Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end statistical analyses and experimental design (A/B testing, quasi-experimental methods) to support product and business decisions.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models and forecasting frameworks using R, Python, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to operationalize analyses and ensure scalable, production-ready code and data pipelines.
  • Communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders through clear visuals and storytelling.
  • Mentor junior analysts, review methodologies, and foster a culture of reproducible research and robust documentation.
  • Assess data quality, perform data cleaning, and implement best practices for data governance and security.
  • Stay abreast of statistical advances and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and training sessions.

Qualification

  • Master's degree or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of applied statistics experience in tech, software, or data analytics environments.
  • Proficiency in R and Python; strong SQL skills; familiarity with Bayesian methods and probabilistic programming is a plus.
  • Expertise in experimental design and causal inference techniques (A/B testing, propensity scores, regression discontinuity).
  • Strong data visualization skills and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS) and version control (Git).
  • Track record of producing reliable, reproducible analyses and contributing to cross-functional teams.
