We are seeking a Senior Statistician / Data Scientist to lead advanced modeling initiatives, drive experimental design, and deliver actionable insights with clarity and impact.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own end-to-end statistical analyses, and mentor junior staff. You’ll work on high-stakes projects requiring rigorous methodology and clear storytelling through data.
Responsibility
- Lead complex statistical analyses and predictive modeling projects from design to delivery.
- Design and analyze experiments and observational studies to inform business decisions.
- Develop and validate models using R, Python, and SQL; ensure reproducibility and robustness.
- Translate analytical results into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior statisticians and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to define metrics and success criteria.
- Communicate findings through compelling data visualizations and executive-ready reports.
Qualification
- MS or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of hands-on statistical modeling, data analysis, and methodological research.
- Proficiency in R and Python; strong SQL and data wrangling skills.
- Experience with Bayesian methods, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Track record of delivering impact through data-driven recommendations.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly) is a plus.
