Join VA Masters as a part-time Short-Form Video Editor and become a key creator of compelling social media content. Based in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, you will craft fast-paced, story-driven edits for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. As part of our production team, you will manage timelines, maintain organized project files, and deliver high-quality cuts that align with brand guidelines. You will also apply color correction, audio enhancement, and motion graphics to elevate each video while ensuring accessibility with captions and clear typography. Responsibility
- Edit short-form videos (15-60 seconds) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, ensuring pacing, story, and on-brand visuals.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to translate concepts into compelling edits that meet campaign goals.
- Apply color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance mood and consistency with brand guidelines.
- Organize and manage raw footage, assets, and project files; maintain version control and efficient workflow.
- Deliver multiple cutdowns per project, including platform-specific formats and captioned versions.
- Ensure accessibility with accurate captions, readable typography, and clear visual storytelling.
- Iterate based on feedback, meet deadlines, and maintain a high standard of quality in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification
- Proven experience editing short-form social video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects; Final Cut Pro; strong color grading and audio editing skills.
- Solid storytelling sense, pacing, and attention to detail; ability to tailor content to different brands.
- Experience with captions/subtitles, lower-thirds, and basic motion graphics.
- Familiarity with platform specs and best practices to optimize engagement.
- Excellent communication, ability to work with remote teams, and reliable self-management.
- Portfolio demonstrating consistency in style and quality across multiple video formats.
