We are seeking a detail-oriented communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation for developers, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to influence product quality, user onboarding, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced fintech environment.
As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with product managers, software engineers, QA, and security and compliance teams to produce, update, and publish high-quality documentation including API references, developer guides, system architecture diagrams, user manuals, release notes, and onboarding materials. You will structure content for knowledge bases, inline help, and customer-facing portals, ensuring consistency with our style guide and information security standards.

Responsibility
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to create and maintain clear technical documentation for banking software and APIs.
- Author and maintain API references, developer guides, user manuals, release notes, and architecture diagrams.
- Translate complex technical concepts into concise, accessible content for developers, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Structure content for knowledge bases, help portals, and customer-facing documentation, ensuring consistency with brand and style guidelines.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle, including planning, drafting, editing, reviews, publishing, and updates.
- Contribute to API design documentation and data flow narratives to support integration and security requirements.
- Ensure documentation complies with regulatory, security, and privacy standards applicable to banking software.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in fintech, banking software, or IT services.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Experience with API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman) and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of banking domain, compliance, and regulatory considerations is a plus.
- Strong information architecture, research skills, and attention to detail; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in Indonesian and English for technical writing and collaboration.
