Azure Trails Travel is seeking a proactive and creative Tourism Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in Lisbon. You will design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that showcase authentic travel experiences across Europe and beyond. This role blends strategy, storytelling, and data to attract engaged travelers and convert interest into unforgettable journeys. You will work closely with product, partnerships, and content teams to elevate our brand as a premier gateway to curated trips and immersive experiences.
Responsibility
- Conduct market research to identify trends in tourism and target audiences across Europe.
- Develop and manage multi channel marketing campaigns across SEO, content, social media, and email to drive brand awareness and bookings.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to curate compelling travel experiences and itineraries.
- Optimize landing pages and partner with web teams on conversion rate optimization and performance analytics.
- Build partnerships with local tourism boards, influencers, travel agencies, and hospitality brands.
- Analyze campaign performance, prepare dashboards, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, Business or related field.
- 3+ years in tourism marketing or travel industry.
- Strong knowledge of content marketing, SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, Salesforce).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; additional languages such as Portuguese or Spanish are a plus.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
- Project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
