Join our growing nonprofit in London as a Volunteer Coordinator. You will empower communities by recruiting, organizing, and supporting volunteers across programs focused on education, health, and social inclusion. This role offers hands-on experience in community outreach, events, and program administration — all while making a tangible difference.
As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will partner with program leads to ensure volunteers have meaningful assignments, receive clear guidance, and are celebrated for their contributions. We value collaboration, empathy, and initiative.
Responsibility
- Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for diverse programs in London.
- Coordinate scheduling and shift coverage for events and activities.
- Provide onboarding and ongoing training to volunteers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers, beneficiaries, and partners.
- Maintain and update the volunteer database, records, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with event planning, outreach campaigns, and donor stewardship.
- Track impact metrics and prepare concise reports for program leads.
- Promote volunteer opportunities through social media, community networks, and partner organizations.
Qualification
- Passion for community service and social impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort working with diverse populations and teams.
- Experience in volunteer management or non-profit settings is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy; familiarity with CRM or volunteer management tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages a bonus.
