Join Hope & Hands Volunteer Network, a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering local residents through education, access, and opportunity. We are seeking a proactive Volunteer Outreach Coordinator to build partnerships, organize events, and help extend our impact in Boston and surrounding neighborhoods.
In this unpaid role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers and staff to deliver meaningful programs, foster community relationships, and support fundraising efforts.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and lead community outreach activities and events.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers; assign roles and schedules.
- Develop partnerships with schools, faith-based groups, and local organizations.
- Plan, promote, and execute volunteer-driven programs and campaigns.
- Maintain volunteer records, timesheets, and attendance data with accuracy.
- Support fundraising efforts and donor engagement activities.
- Represent the organization at public events with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with staff to assess program impact and suggest improvements.
Qualification
- Demonstrated passion for community service and social impact.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work evenings or weekends occasionally.
- Experience in volunteer coordination or event planning is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace; comfortable with basic data entry.
- Ability to work well in a diverse, inclusive environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Background check may be required.
