Join Hudson Talent Solutions as a contract eFront Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of BlackRock eFront. This 12-month engagement supports investment activities, risk management, and daily operational objectives for a leading asset management team in the Central Region.
In this role, you will collaborate with portfolio managers, risk officers, and IT professionals to translate business needs into functional specifications, configure eFront modules, and ensure seamless integration with downstream systems. You will drive requirements gathering, support system testing, oversee data migration, and contribute to delivering high-quality, user-friendly solutions that enhance transparency, reporting, and decision-making across the investment lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on business analyst with a deep understanding of investment operations, risk controls, and data governance. You should bring excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. As part of the team, you will be responsible for defining governance frameworks, preparing training materials, and enabling smooth user adoption post go-live. You will partner with global teams to ensure regulatory compliance and data privacy, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement that drive efficiency and risk mitigation across portfolios.
Responsibility
- Lead end-to-end implementation and optimization of BlackRock eFront to align with investment, risk, and operations objectives.
- Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for eFront configuration and workflows.
- Collaborate with IT, data teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate data mapping, integration, and testing of modules.
- Manage requirements, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and facilitate go-live readiness across stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for eFront users.
- Monitor system performance post-implementation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide ongoing support, issue resolution, and change management to ensure sustained system effectiveness.
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a business analyst in asset management or financial services, with exposure to eFront or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience configuring BlackRock eFront modules for investment, risk, and operations workflows.
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, data mapping, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and SQL to validate data integrity and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and business teams.
- Experience leading UAT, issue tracking, and coordinating with IT and vendors.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, or BA) are a plus; ability to work in a fast-paced, contract environment.
