Job description

Hudson Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated UAT Tester to join a 12-month contract in Singapore. You will collaborate with product, IT, and business teams to ensure new customer service-related systems meet business needs and user expectations. You will design and execute comprehensive UAT scenarios, manage defect tracking, and ensure timely sign-off. This role offers exposure to enterprise-grade platforms, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to influence critical customer service workflows.

As part of the implementation team, you will work closely with stakeholders to validate that the solution delivers the required functionality, data integrity, and seamless integrations. You will help translate business requirements into practical test cases and acceptance criteria, ensuring smooth handoffs between UAT and deployment teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively with both business users and technical staff.

Responsibility

  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end UAT test scenarios aligned with business requirements for customer service platforms.
  • Coordinate and facilitate UAT cycles with business users, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Develop and maintain clear test cases, scripts, and acceptance criteria; map test coverage to business processes.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; validate fixes and perform re-testing to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Validate data migration, data integrity, and system integrations across modules and external systems.
  • Provide timely test status reporting, risk assessment, and stakeholder updates to project governance.
  • Obtain UAT sign-off from key business stakeholders and ensure traceability to requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA and business analysts to improve UAT processes and test artifacts.

Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years of UAT testing experience in IT projects, preferably with customer service or CRM systems.
  • Strong knowledge of UAT processes, QA methodologies, and SDLC lifecycle.
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, UAT scripts, and defect management workflows.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, or similar).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of handling ambiguous requirements.
  • Experience with data validation, data migration checks, and system integrations.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
