Acceptance Engineer
Based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Hummingcomm Corporation is seeking an experienced Acceptance Engineer to drive acceptance testing, oversee documentation, and ensure quality for global projects. This contract role offers immediate start and a path to longer term collaboration.
The successful candidate will lead acceptance testing activities for software and systems delivered for international clients. You will collaborate with product management, development, QA, and client teams to define clear acceptance criteria, develop robust test plans, and manage the transition criteria from development to production. You will own the documentation of acceptance criteria, test results, and sign off packages, and you will coordinate with stakeholders to obtain timely approvals.
Key responsibilities include planning and executing comprehensive acceptance tests, managing issues and defects discovered during testing, preparing acceptance reports, and ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards. You will champion process improvements to optimize delivery cycles, reduce risk, and improve overall product quality. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Responsibility
- Lead and execute acceptance testing for software and systems for global projects
- Collaborate with product management, development, QA, and client teams to define acceptance criteria
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and acceptance sign off documentation
- Manage defects and issues discovered during testing and ensure timely resolutions
- Prepare acceptance reports and provide clear status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards
- Champion process improvements to optimize delivery cycles and product quality
- Coordinate transitions from development to operations and support teams
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in acceptance testing or document management for global projects
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and documentation practices
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Proactive, detail oriented, and self motivated with a strong ownership mindset
- Ability to start ASAP
