Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Account Assistant / Executive to join our finance team in Malaysia. In this role you will support daily accounting operations and work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Responsibilities include data entry, bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing, preparing invoices and receipts, maintaining supplier records, and ensuring all supporting documents are complete and properly filed. You will participate in monthly closings, assist with basic financial reporting, and contribute to process improvements that help the company run more efficiently. You will also interact with internal teams and vendors to obtain necessary information and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Responsibility

  • Process and record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Assist with monthly closings, financial reporting and data preparation
  • Prepare and file invoices, receipts and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with vendors, departments and internal teams to obtain required information
  • Support budgeting and expense tracking activities
  • Ensure data accuracy and maintain organized electronic and physical records
  • Provide timely response to inquiries and contribute to process improvements

Qualification
