Join ApexTax Global, a premier firm helping clients navigate complex tax landscapes. We are seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to lead tax compliance and planning initiatives for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals.
In this role, you’ll partner with partners and senior managers to deliver strategic tax advice, manage compliance calendars, and optimize effective tax rates while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibility
- Manage US federal, state, and local tax compliance, including preparation and review of returns and forms (e.g., 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1040).
- Lead the tax provision process (ASC 740) and ensure accurate financial reporting and disclosures.
- Oversee transfer pricing analyses and documentation for intercompany transactions.
- Advise on international tax planning, foreign tax credits, and repatriation strategies.
- Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on clients; develop risk-mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with finance, audit, and operations to improve processes and internal controls.
- Support tax audits and controversy management; coordinate with outside counsel and tax authorities.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field. CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or CMA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of corporate tax experience; Big 4 or top-tier advisory experience highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of US federal, state, and local tax rules; international tax exposure is a plus.
- Experience with tax provision software (e.g., OneSource, Workiva, or similar) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
- Proficiency in tax research tools and data analytics; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project-management abilities; capable of cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality deliverables.
