Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP for internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles, ensuring timely processing and accurate aging.
- Maintain strong internal controls and assist with internal and external audits (SOX as applicable).
- Collaborate with FP&A to analyze variances, provide insightful commentary, and support strategic decision making.
- Maintain general ledger, fixed assets, depreciation, and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function.
- Support ERP optimization (preferably SAP or Oracle) and data integrity initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a background in GAAP-based financial reporting; public accounting a plus.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting principles, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
- Experience with month-end close processes and SOX/internal controls.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive, business-minded approach.
