Responsibility
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP; explain variances to management and clients.
- Coordinate external audits, provide requested schedules, and implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain robust internal controls and document accounting policies; assist with SOX compliance as needed.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles for clients, ensuring timely cash flow and vendor relations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, operations, IT) to optimize processes and improve accuracy.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, with exposure to US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas) and ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Experience coordinating audits and preparing schedules for external auditors.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of internal controls, process improvements, and regulatory requirements.
