As an Account Executive, you will manage critical financial processes that ensure accurate project accounting and timely decision-making. You will collaborate with project managers, site teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure complete, compliant, and auditable financial records across multiple projects. Your responsibilities span invoicing, payment processing, cost tracking, and financial reporting, all aimed at supporting our project's profitability and cash flow.

Responsibility
- Process and manage accounts receivable activities, including invoice generation, collections, and cash application.
- Handle accounts payable, vendor invoicing, payment runs, and reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Assist with project cost control, track budgets, and produce variance analyses for management.
- Support monthly close, general ledger reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain accurate vendor and customer master records and ensure data integrity in the accounting system.
- Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Assist in compliance, internal controls, and audit preparation for project accounting.
- Provide ad-hoc financial support to the construction finance team as needed.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Malaysia tax/compliance basics and internal control concepts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Malay; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of financial information.
