Partipost, a market-leading commerce platform, is seeking an attentive and proactive Accountant to join our finance team in Kuala Lumpur. As our Accountant, you will own end-to-end financial processes, contribute to continuous improvement of internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant, and insightful financial data. You will interact with auditors when required and play a key role in cash flow management, tax compliance, and budgeting activities that enable Partipost to scale confidently.

Key responsibilities include accurate monthly close, financial reporting, cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable processing, bank reconciliations, and tax filings in compliance with SST guidelines.

Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and month-end close.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, management reports, and KPI dashboards for leadership.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity; contribute to monthly forecasting and budgeting.
- Ensure tax compliance and timely SST submissions; liaise with tax agents and auditors as needed.
- Maintain robust internal controls and support audit readiness, including coordinating with internal and external auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement accounting system improvements and automation.
- Support financial systems, data integrity, and process documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualification (ACCA/MIA) preferred.
- 3+ years of accounting experience; auditing background is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysia SST rules and statutory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; adept at across-team collaboration.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting and records.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
