Responsibility

  • Lead and oversee the accounting and finance functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Manage the month-end close process, prepare financial statements, and deliver timely, accurate reporting to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models to support strategic decision-making and capital allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, regulatory requirements, and internal controls; coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within finance processes (ERP, reporting, dashboards) to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales to optimize working capital, cost control, and profitability.
  • Interface with banks, auditors, and tax advisors to maintain strong relationships and ensure data integrity.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine GAAP/IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; capability to lead system enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a finance team; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of delivering actionable insights and driving cost optimization.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution sectors is a plus.
