As an Accounting Assistant you will manage data entry and documentation across financial workflows. You will process supplier invoices, verify receipts and supporting documents, post journal entries, and maintain the general ledger with accuracy. You will support accounts payable activities, handle vendor communications, and assist with month end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting. You will help ensure inventory costing aligns with physical counts and assist with petty cash control, while participating in bank reconciliations and audit preparations to ensure compliance with company policies and BIR requirements.

Responsibility
- Process and verify supplier invoices and supporting documents
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Assist month end closing and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and vendor communications
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash
- Maintain accurate records for inventory and cost of goods sold
- Support audit preparation and compliance
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with general ledger and accounts payable processes
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with teams
- Knowledge of Philippine tax rules and BIR compliance is a plus
