RGF HR Agent Recruitment is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Accounting Executive to join a leading Japanese retail company based in South Jakarta. In this position, you will support essential accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. You will collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to maintain robust financial processes that underpin business decisions.
As part of the finance team, you will participate in month-end close, generate financial statements, perform reconciliations, and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. You will help maintain internal controls, support tax compliance, and contribute to process improvements that drive efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of communicating effectively in a multilingual, fast-paced retail setting.
Responsibility
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Support monthly and year-end closings with accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for management reviews.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accurate cash management.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and maintain robust internal controls.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives to support business decisions.
- Support internal audit activities and maintain thorough documentation of financial procedures.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or multinational environments.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication in English and Indonesian; ability to collaborate across functions.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Professional certification (CA/CPA/ACCA) is a plus.
