As our Accounting & Tax Senior Staff, you will own and refine end-to-end accounting processes, contribute to closedown activities, and liaise with external auditors. You will also help strengthen financial governance and process efficiency, enabling the company to scale responsibly and profitably in the Indonesian market.
Responsibility
- Manage daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related transactions to ensure accurate and timely closing.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and supporting schedules in line with Indonesian Financial Reporting Standards.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21/23, VAT, corporate income tax) and oversee timely filings, payments, and tax reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities, facilitate internal controls, and implement audit recommendations to strengthen the control environment.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany and bank accounts, perform variance analyses, and drive timely month-end reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities; provide insightful financial analysis to aid business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enhance overall financial operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CA is a plus.
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting and tax experience in Indonesia, preferably in a corporate or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial reporting standards; practical experience with VAT, PPh 21/23, and corporate tax.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with auditors and tax authorities.
- Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a commitment to continuous process improvement.
