As Accounting Head, you will manage a team of accounting professionals, maintain robust internal controls, oversee month end close, prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable standards, and coordinate external audits. Responsibility
- Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and fixed assets management.
- Lead the monthly and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for senior leadership.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to optimize liquidity and capital utilization.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to achieve clean opinions and compliant filings.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the accounting team to drive performance and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license is preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Solid knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
