Responsibility
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and work closely with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Mentor, supervise, and train accounting staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA license highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in the food & beverage, retail, or service industry is an advantage.
