As an Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for accurate data entry, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, and assisting with month-end close. You will manage journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and help prepare financial statements and management reports. Your work will support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and internal controls that safeguard company assets. The role also involves coordinating with auditors, tax filings, and maintaining organized documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibility
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and journals to support reliable reporting.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely invoice processing and payment issuance.
- Assist with month-end close, prepare journal entries, and contribute to financial statements and management reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist with cash management activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support external audits and tax filings as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support process improvements to strengthen efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred; fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software; knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Philippine tax rules (BIR) and basic tax reporting is a plus.
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
