Private Advertiser is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Staff to join our team in Manresa, Metro Manila. This role offers hands-on exposure to accounting and trading commodities, with opportunities to grow across multiple industries.
As an integral member of the finance team, you will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist in preparing timely financial statements. You will contribute to month-end close, perform bank reconciliations, and help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and on-time payments.
You will collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with internal controls and local regulations, while upholding the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality. The role provides exposure to budgeting, variance analysis, and basic financial reporting that informs business decisions. A proactive, organized approach and strong attention to detail are essential as you balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibility
- Process daily financial transactions and post entries to the general ledger with accuracy
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing and vendor communications
- Support month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain financial records, journals, and supporting documentation
- Help generate basic financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, and assist with audits as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and data integrity
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (fresh graduates with internship experience considered)
- Solid knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with a high standard of integrity
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks across different industries
