FFM Berhad is seeking two dedicated Accounts Assistants to join our Finance team on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated finance professionals to contribute to a fast-paced corporate environment in Kuala Lumpur City Centre. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial data, timely reporting, and strong compliance with internal controls.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will support day-to-day accounting activities, help ensure clean ledger records, and assist with month-end closing processes. The role offers hands-on experience across AP/AR, bank reconciliations, data entry, and financial reporting, with mentorship from our senior accountants.
Key responsibilities include accurate processing of invoices, vendor maintenance, receivable tracking, and assisting with cash flow monitoring. You will also help prepare basic management reports and participate in ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibility
- Process daily accounting entries and ensure accuracy in the general ledger
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including invoice processing and supplier/vendor maintenance
- Support bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and month-end close activities
- Prepare accuracy checks on expense reports and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Assist with data entry, filing, and archiving of financial documents
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and respond to audit requests
- Prepare basic management reports and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and practical understanding of accounting software/ERP systems
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (AP, AR, GL)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to work under pressure
- Proactive, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality; bilingual in English and Malay preferred
- Experience with month-end close and reconciliations is a plus
