Responsibility
- Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoice processing, and updating financial records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing and reconciling accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparation of financial reports, statements, and supporting documentation as required.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support the finance department with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks.
- Communicate with vendors and stakeholders regarding payments, receipts, and account queries.
Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role preferred (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, MYOB, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and confidentiality with financial data.
