In this role, you will support day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions. Your responsibilities will include processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable, assisting with month-end close, and maintaining clean and organized financial records. You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Responsibility
- Process and verify daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and post supplier invoices, customer invoices, and credit notes with accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and accruals.
- Maintain accurate supplier and customer records; manage petty cash and receipts.
- Support internal controls, audit readiness, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to improve processes and reporting.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Malaysia accounting standards and internal controls is a plus.
- Ability to handle confidential information and meet deadlines.
