As an Accounts Executive you will handle end-to-end bookkeeping, ensure accurate accounts payable and receivable processing, assist with month-end close, and help prepare timely financial reports. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal controls and Singapore financial regulations, including GST. Responsibility
- Process daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger and assist with monthly close activities.
- Reconcile vendor statements, monitor outstanding invoices, and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Support payroll data collection, expense reimbursements, and float management as required.
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting support, and basic variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and local regulatory requirements including GST where applicable.
- Contribute to cash flow monitoring, expense tracking, and simple forecasting to support business decisions.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, or clerical accounting roles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of Singapore financial regulations and GST compliance is a plus.
- Good communication skills, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to process improvements.
