As an Accounts Executive, you will work closely with the finance team to manage day to day accounting tasks, assist with month end close, and ensure effective financial controls. You will gain hands on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is accurate, data driven, and thrives in a collaborative team where precision matters.

Key responsibilities include preparing supplier invoices and payments, processing receipts, maintaining vendor records, reconciling bank statements, supporting journal entries, liaising with internal departments to resolve discrepancies, and assisting with audit readiness. You will also support routine ad hoc finance and administrative tasks to keep business operations running smoothly.

Responsibility

  • Manage day to day accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and monthly reporting.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of payments and receipts.
  • Support bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting to maintain precise cash position.
  • Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger in a structured, compliant manner.
  • Assist with month end close processes, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for audits and assist auditors during year end review.
  • Maintain up to date vendor and customer records and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualification

  • Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of hands on experience in accounting, preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills; able to interact with vendors and internal teams.
  • Knowledge of Singapore GST/VAT or local tax requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and maintain data accuracy.
