In this role, you will manage the full set of accounts for our managed buildings, support day-to-day finance operations, and develop expertise in property management finance within a dynamic, client-focused environment.
As part of the financial operations team, you will ensure accurate recording, timely reporting, and strong internal controls. Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for managed buildings (GL, AP, AR, cash management).
- Support month-end close and financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and procurement cards; monitor variances and ensure accurate postings.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for property management operations.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for building managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements and local financial regulations; coordinate with auditors.
- Collaborate with operations and property management teams to analyze cost drivers and optimize operating expenses.
- Maintain robust internal controls and documentation; assist with audits and internal reviews.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; professional qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) are a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and applicable statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information.
