Responsibility

  • Assist in processing customer payment advices, debit notes, and credit notes with accuracy and on a timely basis.
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including invoicing and vendor/supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Maintain and file financial documents in the ERP/Accounting system, ensuring records are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor the accuracy of postings.
  • Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month-end closing tasks.
  • Coordinate with sales, treasury, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for audits or internal controls.
  • Learn and apply data entry standards and internal control processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualification

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma/Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with enrollment status.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (AR/AP, general ledger, reconciliation).
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills; professional and proactive attitude.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Fluent in English; Malay language skills are an advantage; knowledge of local business practices is beneficial.
