MR.DIY, Malaysia's leading home improvement retailer, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Executive (Operations & Receipting) to join our finance team in Selangor. You will independently manage daily receipting operations with accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, ensuring smooth cash flow across multiple stores.
Responsibilities include daily cash application, receipting against sales and orders, reconciliation of balances, maintaining customer accounts, and supporting financial close processes. You will collaborate with store operations, treasury, and accounting colleagues to ensure accurate invoicing, data integrity, and timely reporting.

Responsibility
- Manage daily cash receipts and receipting with accuracy and timeliness.
- Apply payments to customer accounts in the ERP and maintain accurate AR aging.
- Reconcile cash receipts, POS data, and bank deposits; identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare daily/weekly AR reports, monitor outstanding balances, and escalate delinquencies as needed.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and treasury to ensure proper invoicing, order fulfilment, and data integrity.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
- Uphold internal controls and compliance with company policies; drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 2–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
- Strong knowledge of AR processes, cash application, reconciliation, and credit control.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with internal controls and audit readiness in a retail or multi-site environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management and deadline-driven mindset.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and multi-store operations.
