Arcadia Actuarial Partners is seeking a highly motivated Actuarial Analyst to join our New York City team. This role offers exposure to pricing, reserving, and risk analytics for life and health products in a fast paced, client focused environment.

Responsibility
- Develop and maintain pricing models and reserving frameworks for life and health products.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and risk teams to translate business strategy into actuarial solutions.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, and validation to ensure model accuracy.
- Quantify risk exposure through scenario analysis and stochastic modeling.
- Prepare actuarial reports, regulatory filings, and management communications.
- Present findings to stakeholders and support data-driven decision making.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
- Support process improvements and adoption of new tools and methodologies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Actuarial credential such as ASA or FSA, or a clear progression toward credentialing; 2-5 years of actuarial experience in life or health domains.
- Strong programming skills in R, Python, and SQL; experience with actuarial software and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting and frameworks; familiarity with NAIC filings and IFRS 17 is a plus.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
